The South African National Rally championship is one of the most demanding forms of motorsport and often occurs in remote areas. These challenging conditions make it the perfect proving ground for Ctrack’s telematics solutions.

A sensational TRAC Dullstroom Rally over the weekend saw Chris Coertse and Greg Godrich win the 2022 South African National Rally Championship. Despite retiring from Friday’s round 11, the Rally Technic Mazda2 team came back with a stage win to claim the title in Saturday’s round. As a result, they joined an illustrious list of names in the SA rallying hall of fame with a very comfortable championship.

• NRC2 class, Gerald Klopper and Johan Aucamp managed to win by just ten points.
• NRC4 class,  Anriko Opperman walked away with the title.

It has been a very exciting MRF Tyres South African Rally Championship for 2022.

2023 promises to bring even more reconciliation for stage sports in SA.
