Ctrack Support Amy Foundation

Only 43% of South African students who enter Grade 1 complete Grade 12. The Amy Foundation, formerly Amy Biehl Foundation, in the Western Cape, is a non-profit organisation that offers programmes which develop and empower youngsters, aged 5 to 35 years from challenged and vulnerable communities. They assist in developing emotionally well-rounded youngsters to make positive life choices and to become economically viable members of society.

With Ctrack, The Amy Foundation and the youth they transport are kept safe while they are on the road. Ctrack solutions assist the Amy Foundation to:

  • Monitor and ensure that their drivers are adhering to the best routes, considering the tasks with which they have been assigned and where they need to collect the youngsters.
  • Ctrack devices assist drivers to check their proximity to collection addresses before directing them to the exact location.
  • Ctrack devices allow The Amy Foundation, parents, and guardians to monitor vehicles for safe driving, as they transport those learners. The addition of the Ctrack tracking device gives the guardians and parents added peace of mind, knowing that their children are being transported safely and that all the precautions are being taken on their journey to and from the Amy Foundation.

“Ctrack is proud to support this great initiative. The Amy foundation plays an important role in the upliftment of society and in turn the broader economy and Ctrack is delighted to supply telematics to make sure their transportation of minors take place safely. We hope that through our ongoing commitment that we contribute to the quality of life of our local communities.” says Hein Jordt, Chief Executive Officer of Ctrack Africa.

Amy Foundation is campaigning for donations to put 30 learners through their ASP for a year, with a target of R270 000.
